Environmental Technical Sales Executive

Salary 30K to 40K, plus car, mobile, laptop, pension, health insurance, commission/bonus

Due to expansion our Client is looking for an Environmental Technical Sales Executive to join their team. I

Excellent opportunity for an experience sales person with good chemical knowledge. An environmental science qualification is essential. You must have a hands on approach in dealing with customers from Water companies and agricultural communities

You will be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on the reliability of the service the company provide to their customers. It is vital that you be motivated, enthusiastic with considerable problem solving skills and an ability to work within the sales team to meet deadlines, targets & goals.

Practical experience of analytical/environmental monitoring instrumentation is desired. It is important that you are results orientated and have good skills in prospecting, negotiating and closing sales

Key Responsibilities

Building new business and growing opportunities within existing customer accounts to achieve territory sales and margin targets

Key account management

Maintaining appropriate customer related sales information within the customer relationship management (CRM) software and keeping management informed by maintaining accurate activity reports. Reports include weekly work plans and monthly and annual territory analysis.

Services existing accounts and establishes new accounts by planning and organising daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

Monitors competition through current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques or any other available data sources.

Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

Manage relationships with instrumentation suppliers, communicating business plans with regular updates

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies as appropriate.

Delivery of professional presentations to all levels within their customer base in addition to good communication skills with appropriate technical acumen.

Have a willingness to undertake appropriate amounts of travel both within and outside of Ireland.

Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results, new vendors and competitive developments.
