The Role:
Our client is currently seeking a R&D Project Manager to join their fast-paced organisation with the goal of guiding project teams and support groups to deliver on key projects and value opportunities for the organisation. As part of this role, you will successfully operate across multiple departments, both locally and globally, with a record of having done so in the past.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and define the scope of development projects with management; track milestones and deliverables
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents and effectively communicate project expectations and deviations to team members and stakeholders
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis and delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
  • Identify and resolve constraints, issues and conflicts within the project team and manage project resources and critical paths
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones with appropriate tools whilst managing and tracking agreements, invoices and payments, conduct budget preparation & tracking
  • Work with external stakeholders across the site, Ops, QA, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Finance and RA to ensure that project goals are clearly communicated
The Person

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a science related discipline with 5 years pharmaceutical/ medical device industry experience, previous project management experience is essential
  • PMP is desired, but not essential and ideally experience in project management in a pharma space advantageous
  • Possess knowledge of c GMP requirements in the pharmaceutical industry, including ICH guidelines
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to manage project scope changes and project uncertainties by offering timely and compliant solutions to keep projects on track
