Our client is one of the most innovative Chemicals companies in the European market at the moment. Specialising in crop protection products, this company has doubled in size and revenue over the last year and are planning to overachieve revenue targets for 2018. This growth is due to ongoing expansion of their product portfolio, increased market share and entry into new markets.

As they continue to expand their operations, our client is looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join their Supply Chain team at their offices in South Dublin.

The Role

Our client currently operates in a make to order model for one of their key markets. This model is changing to a demand and supply operation. As such, they are looking for a Supply Chain Planner with strong demand planning skills, who will be responsible for dealing with key customers, drawing sales forecasts and analytics that allows them to create a strong demand plan that will feed in to my client's manufacturing partners.

As Supply Chain Planner you will work closely with the rest of supply chain to ensure material availability for production, liaising with third party manufacturing with regards to production planning, and making sure the correct amount of product is available for supply. This role will also impact stock control, as my client aims to reduce the value of unsold stock.

The Candidate

  • Ideally 5 year's planning experience - demand planning necessary, materials and production planning would be an advantage
  • SAP Super or Key User
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally FMCG background or an industry that experiences high seasonality.
  • Strong analytical skills, enjoys working with figures and reports.

This is an opportunity for ambitious individuals to join a unique and fast-growing organisation. The role offers the chosen candidate the opportunity to be instrumental in my client tripling revenue over the next 2 years. There is an attractive salary and benefits on offer with this position, with the potential to move in to a management role.
