With approximately 350 pupils, outstanding academic achievement, a deeply embedded culture of pastoral care and a thriving boarding tradition, St Columba's is entering an exciting new chapter as it approaches its bicentenary.
The Fellows are seeking to appoint an exceptional educational leader as the next Warden.
The Role
Reporting to the Fellows, the Warden will provide strategic and inspirational leadership across all aspects of College life, ensuring the continued success and development of one of Ireland's most respected educational institutions.
The successful candidate will nurture the College's distinctive ethos while providing a clear vision for its future development, strengthening its academic, pastoral and boarding traditions, and fostering a vibrant and inclusive community.
The Person
The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher and will bring:
· Significant senior leadership experience within a boarding school or comparable educational environment.
· A strong commitment to pupil wellbeing, development and achievement.
· Outstanding people leadership and communication skills.
· Strategic vision and the ability to lead institutional development.
· The capacity to build trusted relationships across a diverse and engaged community.
· A willingness to support the ethos of the College.
