The Opportunity
The next Chief Executive Officer of Rehab Group will:
- Lead and direct the organisation and its management and staff, to achieve agreed objectives, in each of three high quality specialist businesses.
- Drive the innovative development of these services, review of the operational and financial effectiveness of the group, financial sustainability of the organisations services and businesses and ensuring all legal and contractual requirements are fulfilled.
- Manage for the development and delivery of Rehab Group’s strategy, executing on required changes to future proof Rehab Group for the evolving needs of the people and communities it supports.
- Seek Group Board approval for Strategy and Business plans and be responsible for the achievement of the strategy. Develops excellent relationships with the Board.
- Take a leadership role within the disabilities sector, representing the Rehab Group, influencing, developing policy and opportunities and working in partnership with other sector organisations and beyond.
The Individual
Specialist skills and experience required:
- Successful CEO experience in large, complex and collaborative organisation demonstrating strategic thinking, a business mind-set with change management experience and high-level planning and execution skills.
- Strong financial management and acumen allied to personal and professional integrity.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with communication and team leadership capabilities allied to resilience, drive, motivation and strong influencing skills.
- Extensive experience working with Board/s of Directors, related Committees including Finance, Audit and Risk and Quality and Safety providing clear, data-driven financial insights to support decision making, governance and oversight responsibilities.
- Proven ability to lead, inspire and motivate people, and create positive culture that promotes collaboration and engagement, both with direct leadership team and throughout an organisation.
- Proven ability to develop influential relationships with key stakeholders.
- Extensive experience of governance matters including the development and implementation of controls, policies, and frameworks that ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirement.
- Strong understanding of the NGO sector / environment and the experience to successfully lead interactions with Government, Government Departments and funders.
