Amber Petroleum Ltd are currently recruiting for a Deli Supervisor in Ballyhooly 

The successful candidate must be full flexible, able to work various shifts including early mornings and evenings.

The Deli Supervisor will be responsible for the preparation of high quality hot and cold Deli products while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all HACCP and food safety standards are met, and that all documentation is up to date
  • Handling stock and waste control of the Deli products
  • Bringing forward new ideas to increase sales and standards within the department
  • Managing the day to day management of the Deli operations and the employees to improve sales performance
  • Supervising employees in various duties such as cooking, serving, packaging, and operating counters
  • Managing product storage, maintenance and rotation activities to avoid any damages or spoilage
  • Ensuring that products are properly labelled with prices and dates
  • Dealing with customer queries to the highest possible standards
  • Encouraging an atmosphere of good Customer Service and team work within the Deli area
  • Completing any back office administrative duties as required
  • Assisting in preparation of inventory and sales budgets
  • Provide training to staff on company policies and sales guidelines.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Previous experience as Deli Assistant
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team
