Electrical Technician

An Electrical Engineering / CAD Technician is required by CareerWise Recruitment to join our Dublin based client – an award-winning technology company developing very high precision electro/ mechanical optical assemblies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across both electrical design and hands-on engineering, contributing to the development and delivery of reliable, well-documented systems.

• Design, update and manage complete 2D electrical schematics, panel layouts and wiring harness drawings using Solidworks - Electrical

• Produce clear, accurate and professional electrical drawings in line with engineering standards and project requirements.

• Develop and maintain electrical documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs), clear SOP’S for hardware assembly, testing and maintenance. wiring schedules and component specifications.

• Work closely with mechanical, software and optics team to ensure seamless hardware integration across all machine modules.

• Support the assembly, wiring and integration of electrical systems and control panels.

Requirements

• Qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline.

• Previous experience in an Electrical Engineering Technician, Electrical Design Technician or similar engineering role.

• Practical experience using SolidWorks Electrical or similarto produce electrical schematics and technical drawings.

• Experience designing electrical panel layouts, wiring diagrams and wiring harnesses.

• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings and technical specifications.

• Hands-on experience with electrical assembly, wiring, system integration and testing.
