Warehouse Supervisor

A Warehouse Supervisor is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Galway based client. The experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor will oversee our 2nd shift operations (Tuesday–Thursday: 10:00 am – 7:30 pm….Monday 12-7pm & Friday 8am-Close…. within a fast-paced retail warehouse environment. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising staff, driving efficiency, and ensuring customer orders are packed accurately and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining productivity, motivating team members, and ensuring operational targets are consistently met.

THE ROLE:

• Supervise and lead warehouse team members during the packing shift.
• Motivate and manage staff to meet daily productivity and efficiency targets based on KPIs
• Ensure all customer orders are packed accurately, efficiently, and in line with quality standards.
• Monitor performance and implement improvements to maximise workflow efficiency.
• Maintain high standards of organisation, cleanliness, and safety within the warehouse.
• Provide guidance, support, and performance feedback to team members.
• Assist with staff training and onboarding where required.
• Oversee the correct use of systems and processes, including order management.
• Work closely with senior management to ensure operational goals are achieved based on efficiency & KPI’s
• Troubleshoot operational issues quickly and effectively.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven supervisory or management experience (essential).
• Experience in a warehouse, logistics, retail fulfilment, or similar operational environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to motivate and manage a team to achieve performance targets.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail, particularly regarding order accuracy and quality control.
• Computer literate and comfortable using warehouse management or ERP systems (training will be provided).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
