3 Healthcare Assistants

JCP Powdermill Care Centre Limited trading as Powdermill Nursing Home & Care Centre is looking for 3 fulltime Health Care Assistants to join our team. Candidates will be responsible for getting to know residents’ interests and needs providing attention and support. Assisting and enabling the residents to dress, undress, wash, use the toilet and bathe. Serve meals to residents at table or in bed, and assists with feeding if required. Generally assist residents with overall comfort and well being.

Providing and engage the residents to promote mobility, supervising and assisting as necessary to ensure optimum mobility is maintained and improved where possible Candidates must have experience working in a healthcare environment; excellent communication skills; ability to maintain a positive approach in a sometimes challenging environment; caring and empathetic nature; strong attention to detail. A positive ‘can do’ attitude and an enthusiasm for providing exceptional service to meet the needs of the company is required.

Gunpowder Mills, Ballincollig Co Cork, P31XV25, Ireland.

Salary - €32691 per year, 39 hours per week.
