Job Description & Skills Required

We are looking for *a* compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Live-In *Carer* to *provide individualised support and care for incapacitated, elderly and disabled clients in their home in Mitchelstown, Co. Cork, Ireland.*

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Personal Care

       •      Assist with washing, bathing, showering, dressing, grooming, oral care, and toileting

       •      Support with mobility, transfers, and moving around the home

       •      Help with continence care and maintaining personal hygiene standards

       •      Respect privacy, dignity, and personal preferences at all times

Daily Living Support

       •      Prepare and cook nutritious meals, and support in everyday in the house

       •      Help with managing appointments (doctor, dentist, day centres, social activities)

Health & Wellbeing

        *•    Provide mental and physical stimulation for clients, through support with daily brain and physical exercise programmes*

       •      Help maintain family and community contacts

Live-In Arrangement

       •      Reside in the client’s home – free private accommodation + all utilities (heating, electricity, water, internet) included

       •      Be available during agreed hours; respect rest periods and personal space for both you and the client

       •      Maintain a safe, clean environment

Skills & Personal Qualities Required

       •      Kind, patient, caring, and respectful nature – genuine desire to help people

       •      Good spoken & written English (to communicate and write care notes)

       •      Willingness to live in and work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays
