Applications are invited for the position of Childcare Practitioner to join our dedicated pre-school team.

Contract: September 2026 to June 2027 (Term Time)

Hours: 20 hours per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday, morning pre-school session

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Provide a safe, secure, nurturing and healthy environment for all children in their care.
• Support the inclusion and participation of all children within the pre-school setting.
• Promote children's learning, development and wellbeing through positive interactions and play-based experiences.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative and independence when required.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, children and families.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must have:

• A minimum QQI/FETAC Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (or equivalent recognised qualification).
• At least one year's post-qualification experience working in an early years setting.
• A strong understanding of early childhood education and best practice.
• A genuine passion for supporting young children's growth and development.
