We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service, managing staff, and ensuring the financial profitability of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff. Create weekly rosters and manage staff performance.
Daily Operations: Oversee the smooth running of shifts, ensuring excellent customer service and resolving any guest complaints promptly.
Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, monitor labor and food costs, and handle daily cash reconciliation and banking.
Stock Control: Coordinate with suppliers, negotiate pricing, and manage inventory levels to minimize waste.
Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Irish Health & Safety and Food Safety (HACCP) regulations.
Business Growth: Work with the kitchen team on menu planning and implement marketing strategies to drive restaurant sales.
Requirements
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a similar hospitality management role.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
In-depth knowledge of food and beverage trends and safety regulations.
