A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an API IPT System and Product Lead at our site in Ballydine, Co. Tipperary. Reporting to the API Technical Lead as part of the Commercialization, Development and Supply organization, the API IPT System and Product Lead will have accountability for the provision of Technical Support, System Ownership and Leading Improvements within the API IPT Supply Team to aspects of API and Intermediate production.

Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following:

  • Ownership of Selected API processes and technical oversight for Process Support including MFG Documentation preparation, Investigation management  and Process improvements and Robustness
  • Participates in all daily Tier meetings.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and risks through analysis of key metrics.
  • Support achievement of customer service/MPS targets.
  • Manage the portfolio of improvement projects.
  • Meet department safety/environmental targets.
  • Accountable for the closure of CIR, Quality Notifications, and other process related incidents in a timely and compliant fashion.
  • Participates and leads IPT initiatives to improve performance.
  • Actively participates in the API Technical LT group and IPT and Technical Tier 4
  • Lead PHI assessments and initiatives for improvement
  • People management of a small number of direct reports supporting the API IPT
  • Ownership of key Technical Business Systems including advancement of Digital systems within the API Supply Team.

What skills you will need:

To excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

  • BSc/BEng or higher in Chemistry, Manufacturing, Engineering or Science discipline
  • Min 5 years’ experience in API Technical Support, New product Introduction or Process development,
  • Experience in cross functional teams (e.g., New Product introduction)
  • Process Chemistry and Engineering Principles
  • Process, equipment & cleaning validation
  • Knowledge of production operations
  • Batch sheets
  • Deviation System
  • Regulatory requirements
  • PDC, ADC and Quality policies and procedures
  • Safety policies and procedures
  • Environmental policies and procedures

Leadership:

  • Technically evaluate projects, provide appropriate options/solutions, and respond on occasions with rapid judgements on limited data.
  • Manage a diverse range of projects in a changing environment and to respond with flexibility
  • Recognises and rewards performance
  • Complete assignments and make decisions in a timely manner
