A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Vendor Management Inventory Lead – Dunboyne.

Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following:

  • Be the link between external vendors who supply materials and their replenishment to site, and internal customers with partnership from Global Procurement team.
  • Ensure that all materials that are classified to be managed by vendors are correctly introduced to site in compliance with both quality & safety procedures.
  • Vendor labour resources are setup to be successful to support our internal customer needs.
  • Ensure agreed materials are available to meet site operational needs to not impact site flow activities; this includes physical materials and associated documentation.
  • Material availability – ensuring that materials are delivered to site in the agreed format and released into allocated workspace for use by internal customers (KPI metric – stockouts, inventory levels etc.)
  • Compliance – New material introduction process is followed and both movements of materials and associated vendor labour are in accordance with site Quality & Safety procedures.
  • Relationship management – work with stakeholders of Global Procurement, internal customers, vendors to ensure performance and communication standards are met.
  • Continuous improvement – work with all parties to ensure that an environment exists to promote improvement in activities for both Compliance & operations.
  • Financial Performance – manage to the contract with effective tracking of key financial targets – inventory & labour.

What skills you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, pharmacy, or science related field
  • Three to five years previous experience within Quality operations / Compliance or supporting Supply Chain or Operations role within a manufacturing environment
  • The ability to work with multiple stakeholders to develop process-based solutions and manage the associated communications effectively is of critical importance.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal and the ability to work within all levels of the organisation from shopfloor staff to site Leadership Team
  • Computer literate with advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and priority management skills
  • Ability and willingness to keep learning.
  • Sense of initiative and overall coordination of projects and activities
