Job Description
Position Overview and Job Responsibilities
- · Stay abreast of global tax regulations and ensure the Group's compliance with relevant laws and requirements.
- · Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on Remote's tax position.
- · Analyze DTAs and/or local tax laws and financial information to assess the tax
- implications of corporate restructurings and cross-border transactions on Remote tax position.
- · Assist in implementing international tax strategies that align with Remotes objectives.
- · Conduct risk assessments for permanent establishment and other tax risks on a
- country-by-country basis for clients.
- · Stay informed about global tax reforms and contribute to discussions on new laws or
- regulations impacting Remote.
- · Actively engage in building relationships with external tax advisors, consultants, and
- industry peers.
Required Qualifications
- Collections professional with solid experience and proven performance, mainly consultancy environment
- Prior experience with international taxation and financial operations
- Experience with a global law firm, Fintech or start up company.
- Negotiation and influencing skills.
- Data driven communicator.
- Professional experience working with large data sets.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced, hyper growth environment.
- Its not required to have experience working remotely, but is considered a plus.
- Writes and speaks fluent English
- Demonstrates strong automation and AI capabilities and AI fluency.
