A Senior Analytical Chemist is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Galway based Medical Devices Client on a 12 Month Contractor basis.
THE ROLE:
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Performs analytical testing on drugs and drug combination products with Liquid/Gas Chromatography, Elution, Spectroscopic and Wet Chemistry techniques.
- Responsible for analytical test method development and validation activities.
- Responsible for Laboratory investigations ensuring timely disposition/closure.
- Responsible for accurate reporting and interpretation of results, trending, leading to investigation and production of technical reports.
- Liaise with other departments on site (Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Engineering) to ensure efficient and robust processes are executed on site.
- Provide technical support for instrumentation and analytical methodology and execute troubleshooting.
- Drives continuous improvement projects to reduce testing lead-times/cost savings.
- Works independently to plan and schedule activities to meet project timelines.
- Supports Training of new colleagues.
- Supports Internal and External Audit programs.
- Support Regulatory submissions.
