Senior Clinical Specialist

THE  ROLE

• Lead the development and approval of study protocols and plans, ensuring they meet scientific, regulatory, GCPv, and GLP standards.
• Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance teams to provide timely protocol updates and communicate study progress effectively.
• Oversee studies from start to finish, ensuring strict compliance with SOPs, GCPv, GLP, and all regulatory licenses (e.g., HPRA).
• Identify and document deviations, evaluate their impact on study integrity, and report adverse events according to regulations.
• Monitor and review study data to guarantee accuracy, quality, and integrity of results.
• Prepare detailed final study reports, taking full responsibility for the validity and compliance of findings.
• Archive study data, logs, and specimens for future reference.
• Coordinate with external consultants and subcontract laboratories as needed.
• Maintain clear, ongoing communication with clients, keeping them fully informed of study progress.
• Ensure computerised systems used in studies are validated and fit-for-purpose.
• Respond proactively to unforeseen events and document all occurrences thoroughly.

REQUIREMENTS

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
• 5–7 years of industrial experience, ideally within a GLP-compliant environment.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and quality assurance principles.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
