Senior Project Leader

A Senior Project Leader is required by Careerwise recruitment to work with a Clare based engineering industry client.

THE ROLE:

• Act as the senior point of contact for assigned key customers, building strong relationships and ensuring consistent, high quality project delivery.
• Resolve specification issues, manage all project correspondence, and provide structured, periodic updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Negotiate and coordinate customer requested changes (pricing, delivery, scope) in partnership with Sales and Commercial teams.
• Provide accurate financial reporting and forecasting, proactively addressing risks and variances.
• Drive commercial discipline and ensure all project decisions align with financial targets.
• Lead project risk management, identifying issues early and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to project teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
• Extensive experience managing complex engineering or industrial projects.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrated leadership capability, including mentoring and guiding project teams.
