Technical Sales Manager

A Technical Sales Manager s required by our client - a global company who designs and delivers innovative electrical safety and monitoring solutions for high reliability applications within the hospital / healthcare market.  

THE ROLE:

* Ownership of an existing sales pipeline within the region and develop future business in line with budgeted volume and profit targets.

* Responsibility for managing relationships and securing sales of electrical power products, designed to enhance electrical safety and reliability, with both existing and new customers.

* Achieve budgeted volumes and margins for electrical safety products, including insulation monitoring devices, residual current monitors, and medical power supplies.

* Work with internal teams across Ireland, UK and Germany to support opportunity delivery and customer requirements.

* Maintain accurate account files within a CRM system and manage administrative tasks effectively within deadlines.

* Conduct regular analysis of competitor activity within the healthcare sector and report findings to the business.

* Prepare and present sales proposals ensuring strong technical positioning.

* Regularly network and attend trade shows to develop a new business pipeline focused on healthcare solutions.


REQUIREMENTS:

* Technical / trades qualification in Electrical Engineering or similar
* Proven experience of working in technical / electrical solutions sales 
* Experience of the electrical industry and knowledge of basic power system principles would be advantageous.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Ireland
