The Opportunity

We are seeking Project Managers across multiple levels to join our Programme Delivery & Service Transition team.

In this position you will join a team who have overall accountability for delivering system and process change. This involves delivering end to end across a diverse set of projects such as market changes, power system operational systems, technology refresh projects and offshore enablement. You will work closely with teams from across the business such as finance, business requirements, procurement, architecture, IT infrastructure, stakeholder engagement/readiness, etc.

This is an exciting time for EirGrid as we embark on a new strategy to deliver the solutions required to transform the power system in support of the transition to renewable energy.  This role will suit Project Managers who are passionate about change and making a difference, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and experienced in stakeholder management.

About You

  • A relevant degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in project or programme management, with a strong focus on technical delivery in complex environments.
  • Proven experience delivering projects involving enterprise IT systems, infrastructure modernisation, cloud platforms, or operational technologies.
  • Strong understanding of systems architecture, software development lifecycles, and IT service management.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage third-party vendors and system integrators.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in the energy, utilities, or regulated infrastructure sectors is a strong advantage.
