The Team
The People and Capability Office has overall responsibility for crafting and implementing a vision for organisational transformation, driving initiatives that support EirGrid strategic goals in people management, internal communications, and process enhancement.
The People and Capability Office plays a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of EirGrid's evolution, facilitating cultural change, and building and enabling a high-performance environment. From talent development to employee engagement, the People and Capability Office leads the charge in creating a motivated workforce and delivering best-practice HR policies and solutions.
Job Purpose
We are seeking a proactive, results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage end-to-end recruitment in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role is critical to delivering high-quality hires and ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers. You will manage a portfolio of technical and business roles, partnering with stakeholders to meet resourcing needs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple recruitment assignments, meeting KPIs and delivering exceptional stakeholder service.
- Partner with hiring managers to define requirements, shortlist candidates, conduct interviews, and manage offers.
- Source and attract top talent using innovative, cost-effective strategies.
- Champion best practices and continuously improve recruitment processes.
- Provide insights on recruitment metrics, market trends, and candidate pipelines.
- Collaborate on employer branding initiatives across digital, social, and physical channels.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Relevant degree and minimum 2 years’ experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong sourcing skills, including social media and digital platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of recruitment practices and employment legislation.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Candidate Manager).
- Highly organised with strong prioritisation and time management skills.
- Collaborative team player committed to continuous improvement.
This opportunity is being offered on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract basis.
