GRADE: Grade 7 - £61,292 - £64,780 per annum *
REPORTS TO: Director of Innovation & Entrepreneurship or Director of Trade

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
We are seeking to appoint Assistant Directors to support our Directors across the operational areas of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Trade.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
These are high impact positions that will combine strategic input and direct line management of programme managers with the cohesive design, delivery and management of high impact programmes and supports to ensure we achieve measurable benefits for InterTradeIreland, and the businesses and stakeholders we engage with.
The Assistant Directors will play a key role in translating strategy into impactful delivery for SMEs across the island. The post-holders will also deputise for Directors as required and work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to inform and implement organisational strategy.
As senior staff, responsibilities will also include leading on business development and ensuring that InterTradeIreland is strategically positioned within the wider economic support ecosystem across the island through significant external stakeholder engagement.

THE IDEAL PERSON WILL HAVE:
- A degree or equivalent third-level qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years management experience working in a business role which involved identifying and developing activities to meet an organisations strategic objectives.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience of proactively managing and effectively leading a team, with an ability to plan and organise work to achieve results within tight deadlines, focusing on priorities and objectives with a clear sense of direction.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multi-stakeholder projects with strong operational and strategic outcomes.
- Financial management acumen including the ability to prepare and manage significant budgets.
