An opportunity now exists in Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council for the position of Senior Executive Parks and Landscape Officer.

This is a senior position within the Council reporting to the Senior Parks and Landscape Officer and/or other employee nominated by the Director of Services or Chief Executive.

The Senior Executive Parks and Landscape Officer will be responsible for the efficient management of their prescribed work area within the related function. As a senior manager they will be responsible for the delivery of the Local Authority’s vision and objectives. The Senior Executive Parks and Landscape Officer will be required to work closely with elected Councillors, local community groups, clubs, and the public to deliver the full range of service and implement local policy decisions. The Senior Executive Parks and Landscape Officer will have a strong track record of innovation and will have proven expertise in the operation of the various IT systems available for the effective day to day management of budgets, procurement, design, facilities, and parks management.
