Our Client is currently seeking a talented and experienced Banqueting Head Chef to join our award-winning culinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate chef to take the lead in delivering exceptional food experiences across weddings, corporate events, gala dinners and more.
About the Role:
As Banqueting Head Chef, you will oversee all aspects of our banqueting kitchen operations – from menu planning to food preparation and service. You’ll lead a dedicated team to deliver high-volume, high-quality food for events that make lasting impressions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage the banqueting kitchen team in delivering consistently excellent food.
· Plan, prepare, and present dishes for events including weddings, conferences, and private functions.
· Collaborate with the Events and F&B teams to design bespoke menus tailored to each occasion.
· Ensure food safety and HACCP standards are maintained at all times.
· Monitor stock levels, control costs and minimize waste.
· Train, mentor and develop junior chefs within the kitchen team.
What We’re Looking For:
· 5+ years’ experience in a senior chef role, ideally in a 4/5* Hotel banqueting or large-scale catering background.
· Formal culinary qualifications.
· A proven track record in managing a busy kitchen and team.
· Excellent organisational and communication skills.
· A passion for delivering high-quality, creative food at scale.
· Applicants require current legal status to live and work in Ireland without restrictions

About You
· We would love you to be a passionate, inspiring Kitchen team leader, with similar previous experience gained within a quality 4/5* Hotel establishment
· Candidates must currently have the right to Work in Ireland without restrictions
· Must be able to demonstrate strong management and leadership capabilities along with a good awareness of stock control, event planning and budgeting.
· Experience of managing HACCP in multiple Kitchens and ancillary areas
