Breakfast Manager – 4* Hotel Co Kerry
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Breakfast Manager for this prominent 4* Hotel in Co Kerry. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional to drive service excellence, lead a busy team, and deliver an outstanding guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Restaurant focusing on Breakfast and Lunch service, ensuring smooth and efficient service and that guests have a positive and relaxing start to their day.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high standards of service and presentation at all times
- Manage, train, and motivate the Restaurant team to achieve performance and service excellence
- Oversee staff scheduling, rostering, and labour cost control
- Ensure consistent quality in food service in collaboration with the kitchen team
- Monitor stock levels, manage ordering, and control ancilliary costs to maximise profitability
- Coordinate service periods, manage table allocations, resets and wait periods during peak times.
- Maintain compliance with health & safety, HACCP, and licensing regulations
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
- Work closely with senior management to achieve departmental KPIs and targets
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Restaurant Manager or senior supervisory role within a busy 4* hotel.
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to remain organised and patient during peak service times.
- Proven ability to manage costs, stock control, and budgets
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends
