About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant / Outlet Manager for this prominent 5* Hotel in Galway. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional to drive service excellence, lead a dynamic team, and deliver an outstanding guest experience in one of Galway’s leading hotels.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Restaurant a vibrant and stylish outlet with extensive Food and Beverage operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service for guests
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high standards of service and presentation at all times
• Manage, train, and motivate the Beverage and Food service team to achieve performance targets and service excellence to a very discerning Clientele
• Oversee staff scheduling, rostering, and labour cost control. Assist with Recruitment, on-boarding new members, coaching and mentoring them.
• Ensure consistent quality in beverages, cocktails, and food service in collaboration with the kitchen team
• Monitor stock levels, manage ordering, and control beverage costs to maximise profitability
• Drive sales through upselling, promotions, and innovative bar offerings, creating new Cocktails, house specials and developing Revenue
• Maintain full compliance with health & safety, HACCP, and licensing regulations
• Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues professionally and efficiently
• Work closely with senior management to achieve departmental KPIs and targets

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Restaurant / Bar Manager or senior supervisory role within a busy 4/5* hotel or high-end Restaurant. Hotel Duty Management experience is desired.
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent knowledge of beverages, cocktails, wines, and bar operations, coordination of busy service periods
• Proven ability to manage costs, stock control, and budgets
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
