About Your New Job

  • Develop and implement a risk-based supplier audit programme aligned with BRCGS, conduct supplier audits, manage non-conformances, and ensure timely closure of CAPAs.
  • Maintain complete supplier documentation, ensure compliance with GFSI/customer schemes, manage the Approved Vendor List (AVL), and lead raw material risk assessments and testing plans.
  • Work with Procurement, Quality, R&D and Operations to manage supplier materials, communicate supplier requirements, and report on supplier performance and risks.
  • Monitor emerging food safety and authenticity risks (e.g., industry alerts), communicate impacts to leadership, and manage follow-up actions.
  • Lead supply chain traceability exercises, support audits and mock recalls, contribute to internal audits, and drive improvements in supplier management processes.

What Skills You Need

  • Third-level qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality, or a related field, with 2–3 years’ experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of auditing practices, with external auditing qualification and experience with GFSI standards considered an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
