About Your New Job
As a Junior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll support the delivery of HVAC and plumbing installations on a range of medium to large-scale projects. Working alongside senior engineers, project managers and site teams, you’ll assist with:
- Mechanical design reviews and coordination of drawings.
- Preparing take-offs, schedules and technical submittals.
- Procurement of plant and equipment in line with project specifications.
- Supporting site supervision, quality checks and progress reporting.
- Liaising with clients, consultants and subcontractors to resolve queries.
- Contributing to commissioning and handover documentation.
This role offers the chance to gain hands-on experience while learning how mechanical services projects are planned, installed and delivered.
What Skills You Need
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (or currently completing).
- 1 year's experience in a building services engineering role.
- Strong interest in HVAC, plumbing and general building services.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit is an advantage.
- Organised, proactive and eager to develop technical and site-based skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
