About the Company

A well-established company in West Cork is looking for a General Operative to join their Production Team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary, shift allowance, and opportunities for overtime.

Job Responsibilities

• Operating production lines, packing products, and building pallets to meet targets.
• Keeping the work area clean and safe by following all safety rules.
• Reporting safety issues, equipment problems, or quality concerns to the Production Supervisor.
• Carrying out safety checks, hygiene inspections, and other procedures as required.
• Working with the team to set up production lines, check product quality, and prepare materials.
• Following all food safety, hygiene, and manufacturing guidelines (GMPs, SOPs).
• Completing paperwork and records accurately.
• Supporting improvements in production, food hygiene, and housekeeping.

Skills and Experience Required

• Experience in manufacturing or food production is a plus.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot machinery is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail when inspecting, packing, and labeling products.
• Understanding of food hygiene and workplace cleanliness.
• A team player with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
