About Your New Job
As the Technical Manager, you will:
- Lead and develop the Quality Assurance department, ensuring it is fully staffed, trained, and organized to meet company goals.
- Act as an advocate for food safety culture across the business.
- Maintain, improve, and develop systems to support food safety programs while ensuring compliance with Irish and EU regulations.
- Oversee internal audits and assist in corrective actions when necessary.
- Partner with Production, Sales, and Innovation teams to manage supplier quality and compliance.
- Represent the business during customer audits and technical visits, driving continuous improvement.
What Skills You Need to Become Technical Manager
- Qualification in a scientific or food discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in FMCG and proven leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of food processing, HACCP, and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of IFS, Organic, and other relevant standards.
