About Your New Job
- Respond to yield, downtime, equipment, and process-related issues in a production environment.
- Implement corrective and preventative actions to eliminate repeat instances.
- Work with Manufacturing Engineers to develop, troubleshoot, standardize, and improve existing production methods and procedures.
- Perform electronic troubleshooting and interface electronic and mechanical hardware.
- Assist Manufacturing Engineers in investigating and implementing new production methods.
- Assist in design methods, part sourcing, and documentation.
- Liaise with various personnel and outside vendors as necessary.
- Execute and document preventative maintenance on equipment and take responsibility for preventative maintenance procedures within an assigned process or area.
- Manage yield, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in implementing technical improvements under the core team's continuous improvement initiatives.
- Utilize strong mechanical problem-solving skills and systematic root cause analysis to resolve issues.
- Conduct risk assessments of environmental impact, health, or safety.
What Skills You Need
- HETAC Level 6 qualification or higher in a relevant area (120 credits).
- Knowledge of GMP regulated environment and experience in a similar role is an advantage.
- Good decision-making ability with proven capability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Strong technical capabilities, teamwork abilities, and initiative to drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A genuine passion for technology and innovation.
