Our client, a leading insurance company is looking to recruit a Retail Portfolio Manager for their central Dublin office (hybrid).
The role will coordinate portfolio management activities and will assist in monitoring and controlling financial performance across relevant lines of business.
Additionally, you will lead engagement with Distribution and third-party partners to enhance pricing and underwriting performance.
About Your New Job
- Mentor teams of underwriters, actuaries and data scientists
- Oversee third-party supplier relationships to ensure alignment with departmental goals.
- Deliver pricing and underwriting activities that enhance financial performance
- Ensure compliance with Irish, UK and Group standards.
- Monitor business performance against KPIs, identifying trends in sales and retention to mitigate risk
What skills You Need
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pricing/underwriting management/ financial planning and control or risk role, with 2 years of team leader experience preferred and proven ability in performance management
- Possesses insurance business knowledge in risk, regulatory and corporate governance environment
- CIP Qualification required.
