About Your New Job
- As a Senior PD Engineer, you will actively participate in all areas of new product development, including design, technology development, automation, vendor management, and project management.
- You will use Design, Reliability & Manufacturability methodology (DRM) and 3-D drawing to develop best-in-class technologies, equipment, and processes for manufacturing new medical device product ranges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, execute, and deliver on New Product Development requirements.
- Support teams driving technology process innovation with an emphasis on improving quality, technical rigor, and developing state-of-the-art automated and semi-automated systems.
- Engage in process development, characterization, and validation activities to support new product introduction.
- Utilize six sigma tools, project management, and technology development skills to solve technical problems.
- Compile, document, and present learnings to project and functional teams through technical reviews, design reviews, and project dashboards.
- Participate in functional initiatives that support the continuous improvement of the New Product Development organization.
- Interface effectively and build relationships with team members, other staff, and key technology and component suppliers, both locally and globally.
- Provide coaching and guidance to less experienced team members.
What Skills You Need
- Level 8 Degree or higher in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant direct engineering experience within a medical device environment.
- Dynamic team player who can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams and across organizational boundaries.
- Knowledge of medical device processes with a good understanding of product and process design.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English, with a high level of enthusiasm and motivation.
