A MES Project Coordinator is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational pharmaceutical client in Cork for an initial 12-month contract and full time onsite.
The MES Project Coordinator will join a team is delivering validated MES solutions — Electronic Batch Records, Weigh & Dispense, and electronic equipment logbooks — in a GxP-regulated environment within a Small Molecule Manufacturing facility.
THE ROLE:
- Support the Project Manager in keeping the project plan, milestones, and key dates current.
- Coordinate change requests through the agreed process to completion.
- Maintain clear stakeholder communication in coordination with the PM.
- Track actions, decisions, and risks; flag issues early.
- Team development & continuous improvement.
- Introduce and embed Agile tools and techniques progressively — working cadence, sprint discipline, estimation.
- Support knowledge management: ensuring processes, decisions, and technical knowledge are documented and accessible.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in engineering, life sciences, or IT (e.g. chemical engineering, pharma science, computer science)
- Experience in pharma or regulated environments, especially with GMP and validation processes
- Familiarity with MES and related systems (e.g. batch records, ERP like SAP, automation systems)
- Strong project coordination skills, including scheduling, stakeholder communication, and documentation
- Experience coordinating or managing teams in a project environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills — written and verbal
