Technical Sales Manager

An Automation Technical Sales Manager is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based client- an established Irish company with a proven record of having successfully implemented, innovative and cost effective projects.

THE ROLE:

• Cement relations with existing key customers
• Prospect for new business opportunities and develop new customers
• Account management of long-standing customers
• Work across many different stakeholders within customer organisations
• Identify new technologies/sectors that the company should consider
• Draft proposals and quotations

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 years of sales experience with a technical background
• Degree educated, level 7 or higher
• Prior Experience as an automation/control engineer would be an advantage
• Knowledge / experience of market leading automation software and equipment such as PLC, SCADA, drives, robots, etc. a major advantage
• Ability to work within a team
• Good communication skills
• Full Driving License
