Development Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Software Development Manager with over a decade of experience to lead our Client's engineering department. Ability to provide strategic technical leadership for our Java-based ecosystem, overseeing the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). This role requires a 'leader of leaders' mindset—balancing deep technical authority in Spring frameworks with high-level stakeholder management and long-term architectural vision. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Lead, mentor, and scale multiple engineering teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on technical excellence and career growth.
• Technical Roadmap: Drive the technical vision for complex, large-scale systems using Java (11+), Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.
• Architectural Oversight: Direct the design of scalable backend architectures and data persistence strategies using Hibernate/JPA.
• Operational Excellence: Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, security, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure 99.9% system reliability.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with executive leadership and Product Owners to align technical initiatives with broad business objectives. 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 3–5 years in a formal management or Managerial role.
• Core Tech Stack: Expert-level proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
• System Design: Proven track record of architecting and delivering high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems.
• Agile Mastery: Deep experience leading Agile/Scrum environments and optimizing team velocity and predictability.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. 

Nice to Have:

• Oracle Database: Hands-on experience with Oracle DB, including PL/SQL, performance tuning, and schema optimization.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Experience migrating or managing Java applications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Modern DevOps: Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and advanced monitoring tools.
