Finance Project & Systems Support Analyst

Our client, a well-established multinational organisation based in Shannon, Co. Clare, is seeking a Finance Project & Systems Support Analyst to join their growing Finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong systems knowledge who enjoys working on projects, process improvements, and ERP applications in a dynamic international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Finance transformation projects, ERP implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Assist with finance and tax-related system requirements, including VAT/GST and compliance processes.
• Coordinate UAT testing and support issue resolution.
• Provide day-to-day support for Finance systems and applications.
• Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.
• Work closely with Finance, IT, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Assist with user training and change management initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Finance, ERP support, financial systems, or project environments.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, reporting, and general ledger activities.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced global environment.

Desirable

• ERP implementation or Finance transformation project experience.
• Knowledge of tax processes and ERP tax configuration.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
• Exposure to data governance, system integrations, or business analysis projects.
