FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
LIMERICK
ABOUT THE ROLE
We have partnered with a fantastic financial services company with a brand new and exciting financial accountant role in Limerick. This role is ideally suited to someone seeking a first role in industry or with a few years’ industry experience. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will predominantly be responsible for the month-end close process. You will be joining an expanding international business, and the ideal candidate is someone who enjoys a challenging and dynamic environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Managing the group month end accounting process
• Preparing monthly consolidated management accounts
• Reconciling intercompany on a monthly basis
• Providing commentary on monthly variance analysis
• Assisting in the preparation of Board reporting packs
• Tax returns and compliance
• Liaising with external auditors
• Responsible for acquisition accounting when required
• Working with colleagues in other jurisdictions in relation to reporting and compliance matters
• Ad hoc analysis/projects as required by the CFO or Head of Finance
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• Qualified accountant
• Attention to detail and a practical mindset
• Preference for experience with Xero
• Preference for experience of group consolidation accounting
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organizational skills and an ability to work to tight deadlines
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Legal entitlement to live and work in Ireland
