Position: Senior Data Analyst

Location: Galway, (Hybrid)

Type: Permanent

Your Qualifications & Experience:

·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

·       Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data analysis, data modeling, and database development, with strong exposure to PL/SQL and data integration concepts.

·       Hands-on experience with data API design, data warehousing, data profiling, and enterprise data modeling.

Your Technical Skills & Competencies

·       Experience using data modeling tools such as SAP PowerDesigner or comparable platforms.

·       Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.

·       Solid understanding of the full database development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and optimization.

·       Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing.

·       Proven ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders at various levels within the organization.

Your Skills:

Data Architecture & Modeling

·       Develop high-quality conceptual and logical data models that accurately represent enterprise-wide data requirements across multiple domains.

·       Translate logical models into optimized physical data designs for various platforms, including transactional systems, data warehouses, and data lakes.

·       Explore and evaluate emerging tools, techniques, and best practices in data design and analytics.

·       Produce clear documentation and present data solutions to stakeholders for validation and approval.

·       Support the standardization and reuse of data through shared APIs and consistent design practices.

·       Align technical data definitions with business terminology within data cataloging tools.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration

·       Ensure all data solutions adhere to organizational standards and long-term technology strategies.

·       Work closely with database administrators, architects, and domain experts to build scalable and maintainable data models.

·       Promote reuse of existing enterprise data models to reduce duplication and improve efficiency across initiatives.
