SENIOR ORACLE FINANCIALS FUNCTIONAL ANALYST

 

My client, is a global innovation powerhouse in the security and access solutions industry, headquartered in Europe with a financial SSC based in Galway City. Reporting to the Head of IT Acquisitions, you will be responsible for integrating their acquisitions to Oracle EBS from a PTP, O2C and R2R perspective. Secondly, you will assist their overseas teams with helpdesk related tasks to the integration projects. In a medium to long term timeframe, you will support the integration of Fusion Financials across the group, as part of a yet to be formed project team. This a permanent job, based in Galway City, 3-days in the office. This will suit someone with prior Oracle-only ERP implementation experience. Both qualified accountants and oracle business analysts will be considered.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the key functional expert for Oracle Financials, supporting modules such as GL, AP, AR, FA, and CM.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand financial processes and provide efficient Oracle ERP solutions.
  • Lead and participate in global Oracle Financials projects, enhancements, and rollouts.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and technical requirements.
  • Configure Oracle Financials applications according to business needs.
  • Provide post-implementation support and continuous system optimization.
  • Train end-users and create comprehensive documentation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, procurement, and IT.
  • Ensure solutions are compliant with global finance standards and internal policies.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as an Oracle Financials Functional Analyst with strong knowledge of core financial modules.
  • Expertise in Oracle EBS R12 or Oracle Cloud ERP.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes and best practices.
  • Ability to lead or contribute to full-cycle ERP implementations or upgrades.
  • Skilled in gathering requirements, solution design, testing, and support.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical thinker with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, IT, or related field.
  • Oracle certification is a plus.
