Vehicle Integration Technician

Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Integration Technician to join a leading technology organisation developing advanced sensing, vision and intelligent systems solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical integration and fit-out of test and development platforms.
- Design and install power distribution systems.
- Integrate measurement and data acquisition equipment.
- Support prototype and demonstration builds.
- Develop architecture and systems documentation.
- Produce technical procedures and training materials.
- Support communication networks and control systems.
- Design and coordinate mechanical mounting and interface solutions.
- Participate in supplier and technology evaluations.
- Monitor project costs, timelines and technical risks.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and engineering standards.
- Provide technical support across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Generate design reviews, project milestones and progress updates.
- Support testing, upgrades and deployment activities.
Requirements
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum four years' experience in a relevant engineering, systems integration or technician position.
- Experience working with modern electrical architectures.
- Knowledge of communication networks and control systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel as required.

- Mechanical design.

- Software development or scripting.
