A growing company is looking to hire an Accounting Manager. This is a varied role that suits someone who has experience overseeing payroll and other finance operations.
This is a key role in the finance function. It involves overseeing payroll and expense processes, ensuring compliant and accurate employee remuneration, while managing VAT and payroll tax returns and delivering management reporting.
The role requires proven experience in a similar position.
Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and develop direct reports
Review, prepare, and submit VAT returns
- Manage expenses
Provide operational support to the payroll function, including monthly payroll processing.
Manage the end-to-end payroll processing
Manage relationships with external payroll providers
Perform general ledger reconciliations for all payroll and pension-related accounts
Experience:
3+ years' experience in a similar finance or payroll-focused role.
Strong working knowledge of Irish and UK VAT requirements.
Good understanding of payroll regulations and payments to employees and contractors.
Advanced Excel skills and experience using payroll systems.
Strong base salary and package attached.
