A leading construction & engineering company with a presence across many EU countries is looking to hire a compliance manager.
They are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to lead and manage compliance activities across the organisation. This role involves working closely with stakeholders at all levels to ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal standards.
Based in North West Dublin Head Office, the position will also involve occasional travel to project sites.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a comprehensive compliance framework aligned with key regulatory obligations
- Develop, maintain, and update compliance policies, procedures, and codes of conduct
- Conduct compliance risk assessments (e.g., anti-bribery, fraud)
- Manage compliance registers, including Gifts & Hospitality, Conflicts of Interest, and Donations/Sponsorships
- Provide guidance on third-party due diligence and support responses to client compliance queries
- Support business growth initiatives by identifying potential compliance risks
- Develop and deliver training on compliance policies and emerging regulatory topics
Experience:
- Proven experience in a Compliance Manager (or similar) role within a commercial environment
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance frameworks
- Experience developing and implementing compliance policies and programmes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a solutions-focused mindset
- Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work across all levels of an organisation
