Team Lead - Finnish Operations (Dublin | Hybrid)
This opportunity sits within the Irish operations centre of a long-standing European financial services organisation specialising in life insurance and long-term investment solutions. The business supports a broad Nordic client base and is known for its focus on stability, quality, and long-term relationships rather than short-term wins.
You'll lead a Finnish-focused operations team responsible for the end-to-end administration of life policies, from onboarding new business through to claims. This is a people-led role with real operational ownership - ideal for someone who enjoys developing teams while staying close to day-to-day delivery.
The role
Lead and develop a specialist operations team through regular one-to-ones, performance discussions, and coaching
Oversee daily workflows, workload distribution, rotas, and service level delivery
Act as the first escalation point for complex cases and customer queries
Create a supportive, high-performing team culture built on clarity, accountability, and collaboration
Partner with colleagues across operations, product, and other internal teams to ensure smooth end-to-end processes
Contribute to process improvements, projects, and service enhancements
Support the Operations Manager with evolving priorities and cross-functional initiatives
What they're looking for
A third-level qualification in business, finance, or a related field
Experience within financial services - insurance, pensions, or investments would be ideal
Strong communication skills in English and Finnish are preferred
Previous team leadership experience, or a senior operational background with clear people leadership exposure
A customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Confidence, sound judgement, and strong interpersonal skills
