Lending Support Administrator / Mortgage Administrator
Salary: €32,000 - €35,000
Department: Lending & Marketing
Reporting to: Chief Commercial Officer
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to begin or develop a career within the mortgage and lending industry. The successful applicant will support Lending Managers with new mortgage enquiries and applications while gaining exposure to the full lending lifecycle.
The role offers strong progression potential into a Lending Manager position over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Lending Managers with mortgage enquiries and applications
- Assess client documentation and ensure completeness
- Package and submit mortgage applications
- Manage data entry, file administration, and case tracking
- Maintain an organised pipeline of cases to maximise conversion
- Communicate with clients regarding outstanding requirements
- Liaise with internal departments to support quality lending decisions
- Assist with retention of existing business
- Support special projects as assigned by management
Education and Experience
- Suitable for candidates with minimal experience in lending or banking
- Third level qualification or working towards APA/QFA preferred
- Mortgage industry knowledge advantageous but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Willingness to learn and develop within the role
