A leading employee benefits and financial advisory firm is expanding its financial planning division and is now seeking an experienced Senior Financial Planning Consultant to join its growing team. About the Role
As a Senior Consultant, you'll deliver tailored retirement, pension, and wealth planning advice to a portfolio of individual and corporate clients. You'll work directly with senior leadership, contributing to strategy while enjoying the freedom to focus on trusted client relationships. You'll also mentor junior colleagues and represent the business at senior-level meetings and events.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert financial planning and pension advice to individual and corporate clients
Manage and grow a portfolio spanning group schemes, corporate benefits, and private wealth clients
Act as a senior adviser and role model within the team, mentoring junior staff
Represent the firm at presentations, networking events, and client pitches
Contribute to shaping the direction of the financial planning division
What You'll Need
At least 5 years' experience in financial planning, pensions, or employee benefits
QFA qualification (CFP preferred but not essential)
Proven track record of client acquisition and business development
Strong communication and relationship skills with senior stakeholders (trustees, accountants, HR leaders)
Commercial acumen with the ability to help drive business growth
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: €75,000 to €95,000
Competitive package including car allowance (€8k) and bonus scheme
10% employer pension contribution (5% employee contribution)
