A leading construction contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join their Dublin team and take responsibility for the commercial management of multiple projects across Ireland.

Based from the Dublin headquarters, this is a senior leadership role overseeing a portfolio of projects, providing commercial direction, supporting project teams and managing a team of Quantity Surveyors and commercial professionals.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving commercial performance, ensuring strong cost control, effective contract management and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of multiple live construction projects.
• Provide strategic commercial guidance to project teams and senior stakeholders.
• Manage, mentor and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors.
• Oversee procurement, valuations, variations, change control and final accounts.
• Review project performance, cost reporting, forecasting and risk management.
• Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Ensure commercial processes and governance standards are maintained.

Requirements

• Extensive experience within a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor role.
• Strong background working with a main contractor on large-scale construction projects.
• Proven experience managing commercial teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent knowledge of contract administration, cost control, valuations and final accounts.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
