SAP Integration Specialist - County Cavan

We are seeking to identify highly motivated and qualified individuals for an opportunity as a SAP Integration Specialist to configure and support SAP solutions that enable our end-to-end value chain across:

  • Source-to-Deliver / Source-to-Pay (Supply Chain & Direct Material Sourcing and Procurement)

This requisition is intentionally broad across SAP specialties, including but not limited to SD, FI-CO, MM, PP, WM, EWM and S/4HANA.

You do not need experience in all the areas listed; we are seeking strong SAP talent across one or more of these modules and encourage candidates to apply even if their expertise is focused in specific domains.

As an SAP Integration Specialist, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Order Management to gather requirements and to configure, and support SAP solutions that meet business needs. You will implement scalable SAP processes, ensure solutions align with industry best practices, optimise business operations, support and SAP modules and drive process improvements through automation and standardisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SAP configuration for core business processes.
  • Support sourcing, procurement, supplier management, production planning, manufacturing, logistics, inventory control, warehouse management and goods movement processes.
  • Proactively learn and adopt internal company processes, systems, and operational standards to fully support daily team objectives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and implement SAP solutions that are scalable, secure, and aligned with company standards.
  • Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of SAP enhancements and new functionalities; ensure strong end-to-end process validation.
  • Support integration of SAP with external systems, partnering with integration and infrastructure teams.
  • Help evaluate and rationalize the existing manufacturing, supply chain, and order management application landscape, determining which solutions are integrated with, absorbed into, or retired in favour of SAP S/4HANA and related SAP SaaS solutions.
  • Participate in SAP upgrades, migrations, and digital transformation initiatives, including S/4HANA and cloud/SaaS adoption.
  • Apply standard SAP functionality to meet business needs.
  • Contribute to application management and production support.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, configuration guides, and training materials to support adoption and reuse.
  • Adhere to organizational IT standards, security protocols, and industry best practices, including relevant regulatory and internal control requirements.

Skills Required:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Computing, Information Systems, Supply Chain or a related field or equivalent practical experience and certifications.

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on SAP experience, including configuration of one or more relevant modules, for example:
    • SD Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Order-to-Cash.
    • FI-CO integration with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Order Management.
    • MM, WM, EWM procurement, inventory, warehouse, and logistics execution.
    • PP / Manufacturing production planning and execution, plan-to-produce.
    • S/4HANA functional configuration and extensibility.
  • Strong understanding of SAP principles and extensibility approaches, including how to design upgrade-safe, cloud-compliant solutions.
  • Solid business process knowledge in areas such as Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Direct Material Sourcing & Procurement, Purchasing, Production Planning, Warehousing, and Master Data.
  • Experience supporting integration with other SAP modules and external systems, including familiarity with common interface technologies.
  • Familiarity with software testing, automation, and quality assurance practices; ability to define and execute test plans and support automated/regression testing.
  • Ability to debug and analyse SAP systems.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to diagnosing issues and proposing options.
  • Strong commitment to continuous improvement, teamwork, and integrity, including willingness to learn new SAP and cloud capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly absorb, adapt to, and execute new organisational workflows and business processes.

Advantageous Skills:

  • SAP certification in one or more relevant modules (e.g., SD, MM, PP, WM/EWM, FI-CO, S/4HANA).
  • Exposure to SAP AI / analytics capabilities and apply analytics/AI in manufacturing, supply chain, or order management use cases.
  • Background working with manufacturers, suppliers, or service providers, ideally in manufacturing environments.

General Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Highly adaptable and self-motivated – able to take initiative and thrive in ambiguity.
  • Strong communication skills – able to liaise effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • A team player who takes the initiative to understand how their role fits into broader company processes to better support the team.
