With a strong pipeline of projects and continued growth in the market, they are seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join their team on a major residential development in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.
Project
Large-scale residential development comprising 350–400 houses, with an estimated 3-year construction programme. The project forms part of a wider pipeline of upcoming developments, offering excellent long-term career opportunities.
The Role
Reporting to the Site/Project Manager, the Senior Site Engineer will play a key role in managing site engineering activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying for residential construction works.
- Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinating subcontractors and site teams to ensure programme targets are achieved.
- Monitoring and maintaining high standards of quality control on site.
- Managing site records, as-built drawings, and technical documentation.
- Liaising with design teams, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Assisting with planning and sequencing of works to maintain programme.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on site.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience in a Site Engineer / Senior Site Engineer role.
- Strong experience working on residential developments, ideally large-scale housing projects.
- Proficient in setting out using Total Station / GPS equipment.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
