Site Manager –Co. Kildare

A leading Tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join the delivery team on a large-scale industrial development in Co. Kildare. This flagship project represents a significant investment in the region and offers the opportunity to play a key role in the construction of a high-specification facility for a blue-chip client.

Working closely with the Project Manager and senior site team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining programme targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
• Supervise subcontractors and direct labour to ensure productivity and quality standards are achieved.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and programme requirements.
• Monitor site progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
• Drive health and safety compliance across all site operations.
• Coordinate site logistics, material deliveries, and workforce planning.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure works meet required standards.
• Assist in resolving technical and construction-related issues as they arise.
• Manage short-term programming and ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, design teams, and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor.
• Strong track record delivering industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, data centre, or large-scale commercial projects.
• Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies and site management processes.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and work packages simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Strong focus on quality, programme delivery, and health and safety.
• Relevant construction qualification preferred.
• Safe Pass and other relevant site certifications.

Package

• Competitive salary of €75,000 – €85,000 depending on experience.
